Professor Boris Bernhardt's lab is looking to hire a highly motivated Research Associate. The Research Associate works in collaboration with the Research Supervisor to develop and conduct research and multimodal image processing projects for the Centre of Excellence in Epilepsy (CEEN) at the Neuro.
The Centre of Excellence in Epilepsy (CEEN) at the Neuro is a growing, multidisciplinary hub to advance research and care in patients with epilepsy. Our research is closely embedded in an open science philosophy and making approaches available to clinicians and knowledge users at the Neuro and beyond. We furthermore engage in several large-scale consortia for reproductible and accessible neuroimaging research in epilepsy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and optimize multimodal neuroimaging workflows, including MRI, PET, EEG-fMRI and other modalities.
  • Analyze neuroimaging dataset, including PET and MRI, using existing computational pipelines and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of novel toolboxes and robust, replicable workflows.
  • Collaborate with local and international teams on multidisciplinary research projects.
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication and contribute to grant writing.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to postdocs, graduate students, research assistants, and trainees, as required.
  • Contribute to maintaining lab operations, including organizing workflows, tracking supplies, and supporting adherence to best practices in research and safety.

McGill University is an English-language university where most teaching and research activities are conducted in the English language, thereby requiring English communication both verbally and in writing. Hourly Salary: $33.96
Hours per Week: 40 (Full time)
