This position will be from approximately March 31, 2025 - April 25, 2025
Research Associates:
Under the general direction of, and in collaboration with researchers and faculty members, positions at this level apply extensive knowledge in their field to perform high-level, complex research activities, and will normally hold a Master's degree. Individuals with training beyond a Master's degree who have limited experience may also be appointed into this classification level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coding data for analysis and management
Supporting investigators on research projects
Designing and redesigning materials
Troubleshooting computer problems
Maintaining research budgets
Ensuring research methodology is applied
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or a related field.
Relevant coursework in data structures, algorithms, statistics, and research methods.
Programming proficiency in languages like Python, R, Java, or other languages commonly used in data analysis.
Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and wrangling techniques.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL)
