We offer BA, BA Honours, MA, and PhD programs. A dynamic unit, we currently have 9 faculty members, including two research chairs, with additional associate and adjunct members from other departments and institutions. Indigenous Studies is dedicated to the development of applied and theoretical investigations of Indigenous concerns and strategic community-based research. It is also dedicated to servicing the Indigenous Studies content needs of other academic programs in the university on and off-campus. For more information on the Department, see .Primary Purpose: This position has been designed to support research activities, including data management, research design/analysis, literature reviews, and ethics applications, and Indigenous community engagement sessions.Nature of Work: The Research Associate is a full time, two-year (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2026) position that supports the research activities of Dr. Allyson Stevenson, Gabriel Dumont Research Chair in M\xc3\xa9tis Studies including historical and cultural research with Saskatchewan First Nations and Metis Communities, research design and analysis, day-to-day operations, community liaison, and project management. This is an ideal position for a candidate looking to gain additional research experience before applying for PhD programs or for someone considering a career in applied research.
