Position Summary:
Working under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Research Associate I requires experience in the coordination of personalized medicine and translational research aspects of clinical research. The candidate should be very detailed oriented and have experience working with PH.D level scientists. In addition, the candidate should be skillful in identification of problems using assessment skills, mid-level data analysis, assessment of study-related literature; capable of liaising with sponsors if relevant, vendors and external stakeholders, grant-writing, project management and builds on this experience to implement and oversee clinical and research projects within the Thoracic Medical Oncology Program.
Job Duties:
The successful candidate will play a key role in the medical oncology lung clinical and research team, and liaise between principal investigators, research nurses and coordinators and medical trainees. This position will utilize knowledge of translational and clinical research management to lead moderate to complex projects. The incumbent will be responsible for:
