Working for the Department/Faculty
The Department of Oncology consists of the School of Radiation Therapy and the following 7 Divisions: Experimental Oncology, Medical Oncology, Medical Physics, Oncologic Imaging, Palliative Care Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Surgical Oncology. Within the Cross Cancer Institute, several of these academic divisions also comprise hospital departments. The Division of Oncologic Imaging is unique to the University of Alberta. Our Department, the fourth largest in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and located at three sites on the University of Alberta campus.
Position
The RA will be responsible to Dr. Ronald B. Moore and his research collaborators (including other laboratory personnel) for carrying out the experiments detailed in New Frontiers in Research Fund-Exploration (NFRFE) in a good laboratory practice (GLP) fashion. This is a translational biomedical cancer research project on radioPDT, photodynamic therapy, radiotherapy, nanoparticle, theranostic, contrast agent, hypoxia, prostate cancer, drug delivery.
