  • Work with peatland researchers across Canada on preparing and submitting existing datasets in AmeriFlux;
  • Assisting researchers and students in further refining datasets to be used in other Can-Peat research activities. -
  • Contribute to other ongoing projects in the lab focused on carbon cycling in restored peatlands and tidal wetlands in BC\'s lower Mainland. -
  • Assisting with maintaining the field monitoring program, supervise undergraduate/graduate students and lead independent research of their own;
  • Supporting and improving the Micromet Lab website;
  • Contributing to budget creation and grant proposal writing as part of their role in research project management and administration
  • Presenting at national and international conferences
  • Publishing/contributing to peer-reviewed manuscripts
Qualifications:
  • Must be experienced with data cleaning, analysis and visualization
  • Must have demonstrated success with writing and managing grants and supervising students
Experience and education:
  • Must have extensive experience with research equipment and field campaigns
  • Must have over 10 years of experience in the field
