Job Description

We are seeking a research assistant to join our breathomics research team at the BC Cancer Research Institute, which focuses on early lung cancer detection through breath. Our research focuses on the effect of air pollution on lung cancer development. We seek someone highly organized and detail-oriented with experience interacting with patients in a hospital environment. Candidates will be expected to help with study recruitment and database maintenance and have experience with research study design and study ethics. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, can multitask, and have a keen willingness to learn. Must have a undergraduate or graduate degree in Science to be considered. Bench lab work experience is required.

Our lab pushes the boundaries of research. An ideal candidate will be high energy and have a passion for research.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $45,000.00-$57,000.00 per year
