SUMMARY





The research assistants are going to work closely with the research team of the SSRCH funded project "Resolving Temporal and Operational Expressions of Motivation and Cognition".

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Literature Search and Database Management: Conduct literature searches using online
databases and maintain the research database.
Conduct Literature Reviews: Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on relevant topics and synthesize findings for research projects. Data Collection and Analysis: Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of research data using appropriate methodologies and software tools. Data Entry and Management: Accurately enter and manage research data in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity and security. Attend Research Meetings: Participate in research meetings to share progress and contribute to discussions. Participant Recruitment: Assist in the recruitment of research participants, which may involve reaching out to potential participants, distributing recruitment materials, and coordinating scheduling for other data collection. Draft Research Reports: Help in preparing research reports, summaries, and presentations. Support Project Documentation: Keep detailed and accurate records of research procedures, findings, and results. Support Research Projects: Collaborate with the research team to support ongoing research projects and contribute to the development of research proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS



Current KPU students, preferably Psychology students Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively Ability to collaborate effectively with researchers, faculty, and other team members on research projects Proficiency in using research tools and data collection tools Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, entry, and analysis to ensure reliable research outcomes Prior experience in academic or applied research, either through coursework or involvement in research projects, is desirable Effective written and verbal communication skills to assist in writing research reports, presenting findings and communicating with team members

SALARY INFORMATION




Anticipated hourly rate: $18
