Research Assistant

Primary Purpose: Assist with drafting and compiling health system literature and manuscript preparation for publication.

Nature of Work: Within a team environment, the candidate would synthesize and analyze literature for the development of program theories regarding clinical pathways, prepare succinct knowledge translation documents, and assist with writing and preparing of funding proposals. You may be asked to assist with other tasks as deemed necessary. Weekly reporting to principal investigator and team lead. Standard work hours with flexibility. Independent and collaborative work expected.

Typical Duties or Accountabilities: Assist with literature review and synthesis, data analysis, and reporting. Deliverables as discussed with PI and team lead.

Qualifications

Education: Master\'s or PhD.

Experience: 2 years post-degree preferred.

Skills: Advanced writing skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and qualitative and quantitative data analysis software. Experience with literature analysis and synthesis. Effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-directed and able to work independently.
