The Neuromodulation group within the Division of Neurosurgery is providing state-of-the-art and evidenced based treatments for patients with chronic neurological disorders (e.g. Parkinson\xe2\x80\x99s, other movement disorders, epilepsy and neuropathic pain). The team is organized interdisciplinary together with neurologists, psychologists, neurosurgery and allied health. We have initiated several trials and registry studies that will start recruiting patients very soon. These studies have the goal to improve the quality and efficiency of the way these treatments are delivered. We provide services throughout Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and New Brunswick.
Reporting to the Principal Investigator, the Research Assistant contributes to the Neuromodulation team assisting with study administration, by providing general administrative support and by maintaining study data.
