Research Assistants are normally students, in a University of Winnipeg undergraduate program, employed to assist with tasks related to research. Work is performed within defined guidelines and under supervision of a more senior researcher or faculty member.
Position Overview:
The student awards assistant will work as an assistant to develop resources for learning data structures and algorithms. This will include the development of a graphical user interface that models selected operations of different data structures and algorithms. The student will assist in conducting research that evaluates the effectiveness of the developed resources. This will be done through analysis of feedback from users of the developed interface. The student will support in disseminating the results of the study to evaluate the use of the interface.
