The Research Assistant will assist Dr. Daniel with projects within the Chair's mandate. The assistant will work directly with other personnel within the Department of Pediatric Surgery, The Montreal Children's Hospital, and international collaborators to coordinate the various educational and research projects currently within the Chair's mandates.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate all research efforts led by the Chair.
Assist with the logistics of all research projects under the chair's mandate. This includes assistance of graduate students, organizing research meetings, recording and transcribing meeting minutes, following up on deliverables, and coordinating abstract and manuscript submissions.
Coordinating educational activities under the chair's mandate
Coordinate global surgery educational activities.
Assist the Chair with other related activities
Qualifications:
BS./Master's degree in biological or social sciences preferred.
Strong leadership and team-working skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Facility with common software (Word, Powerpoint, Teams, etc. )
