This Full-Time Research Assistant 1 position is based in Prof. Narges Armanfard's research lab in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
This Research Assistant role supports the development of AI-based applications across multiple lab projects, helping translate research into functional, user-facing prototypes. Key work includes advancing SeeVita's contactless, beat-to-beat blood pressure estimation platform through software engineering and cross-platform app development.
The role also contributes to Lab2Market (L2M) customer discovery and early commercialization activities, and supports other AI streams such as dataset collection/annotation pipelines for autonomous driving and deployment-ready clinical tools for epilepsy localization.
Job Responsibilities

• Develop cross?platform prototypes for AI applications.
• Implement software features for SeeVita's contactless BP estimation platform.
• Support dataset collection and annotation for autonomous driving projects.
• Assist in building deployment?ready tools for epilepsy localization.
• Contribute to L2M customer discovery and early commercialization activities.
• Collaborate with researchers and maintain clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.

Strong problem?solving and teamwork skills.
Has a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience to the research project
