Edelman Toronto is seeking a passionate, creative, problem-solving, analytics professional with experience in the latest online data collection and analytics tools to contribute to the growth of our Insights & Analytics specialty.

Reporting to the Director, Data and Intelligence, the role will focus on providing insights and analytics support to our account teams to help drive business results for our clients.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years\' experience as an analytics practitioner, ideally from an agency or consulting environment. You will have a solid background in digital analytics, and a keen sense of where the sector is going in the months and years ahead. You will leverage your experience from executing digital analytics projects, driving the development of innovative and creative research methods to provide insights that fuel integrated planning processes and drive program optimization for clients. This position requires experience in the various technologies that define the on & offline space, as well as a passion for understanding their impact on human behaviour and the big picture. You also have organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments, and deadlines. It also requires a person that is proactive, a problem solver, and a critical thinker.

Candidates should be able to share case studies of previous work. \

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day execution of various analytics initiatives, including implementation, monitoring and social listening, processing and reacting to data in real-time, ad hoc requests, etc.
  • Works with client and account teams to leverage measurement-focused insights to optimize strategy and program development, as well as define and implement tracking of key performance indicators
  • Participate in client presentations and support new business pitches specific to measurement strategy, campaign analysis, content optimization, social and web analytics, monitoring, etc.
  • Act as a lead on Q&A of outgoing reports to ensure deliverables meet standards expected by clients and senior leadership
  • Effectively distill data into coherent analysis, insights and ultimately actionable recommendations in non-technical written reports
  • Recognize impact of self on others; maintain strong internal/external relationships; support fellow team members

Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years experience in digital analytics with potential areas including research, advertising, media or publishing
  • A demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and develop a narrative based on data driven insights
  • Experience with the development of research and measurement frameworks based on clearly defined objectives
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to lead communications in various environments, including meetings, through document development and in presentations
  • Strategic and creative thinker, self-starter, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of data and information visualization best practices
