Biobehavioural Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Research Laboratory (BACDRL), Addictions Division, Acute Care Program, CAMH
Position Description:
The Biobehavioural Addictions and Concurrent Disorders Research Laboratory (BACDRL) in the Addictions Division, Clinical Research section is seeking a full-time, contract (12 months) Research Analyst. The incumbent will report to the Research Manager and join a highly productive CIHR-funded clinical and laboratory research team investigating psychosis, mood disorders and substance use through a multi-modal approach including brain stimulation, and neurocognitive assessments, with a focus on a study using brain stimulation to treat cannabis use and cognitive problems in schizophrenia and cannabis abstinence studies to probe the role of cannabis and cannabinoids in major depressive disorder.
Responsibilities will include independent participant recruitment from multiple sites; cognitive testing/clinical assessment of enrolled participants including clinician-administered assessments and SCID fort DSM-5; assist in the administration of brain stimulation protocols; scoring and data entry; clerical duties including maintenance of regulatory binders and case report forms. This position is located at 33 Ursula Franklin Street Site, and will require travel back and forth to 1001 Queen Street West CAMH location where the Temerty Centre for Therapeutic Brain Interventions is located.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with at least one (1) year of relevant experience working in a research environment. Experience working or volunteering in an academic laboratory setting, established skills in neurophysiological/neuropsychological, and substance use assessments is an asset. Intermediate level proficiency in PC software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet search engines is required. Basic knowledge of SPSS, R, or equivalent statistical programs is required; as well as knowledge of REDCap and double-entry data input. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, particularly in the area of knowledge translation. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to produce high quality and accurate work, while meeting program deadlines and requirements. Other preferred skills include the ability to work in a team environment as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates require the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Bilingualism (French/English) and/or proficiency in a second language would be an asset.

Salary Range: $25.03 - $33.38 per hour
