Haztech is offering full-time Firefighter/ERT roles on a short-term project in Saskatchewan\xe2\x80\x94and we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for top talent to join us!If you\xe2\x80\x99re ready to work in an immersive, camp-based environment on two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off rotations, with all meals, accommodations, and travel from Saskatoon covered, this could be the perfect adventure for you!What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be DoingAs a vital part of Haztech\xe2\x80\x99s Emergency Response Team (ERT), you\xe2\x80\x99ll play a crucial role in protecting people, the environment, and property. Every day will be dynamic, with responsibilities that will put your firefighting and rescue skills to the test.

• Respond to emergencies and accidents to keep people and the environment safe
• Utilize your expertise in firefighting, rope rescue, confined space rescue, and medical emergencies
• Inspect and monitor confined spaces and heights to ensure worksite safety
• Maintain and inspect rescue, fire, and EMS equipment to keep them in top shape
• Develop, review, and execute site rescue/fire plans, drills, and training sessions
• Keep the environment safe and orderly by strictly following safety procedures

Your goal? Optimize emergency response plans to ensure the safety of everyone on site\xe2\x80\x94and have a direct impact on keeping our project personnel and communities secure.What You Bring to the Team

• NFPA 1001 Level I & II - Mandatory
• NFPA 472 - Mandatory
• Confined Space Rescue & Rope Rescue - Mandatory
• NFPA 1002 - Preferred
• First Responder Level B - Mandatory
• 1+ year(s) firefighter experience - Preferred
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (Must obtain Class 3A within two months of starting)
• Clean criminal record - Mandatory
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
• Self-motivation and a commitment to professionalism and teamwork
