Job Description

En tant que representant des ventes externes, vous serez responsable du developpement de nouveaux prospects et de l'interaction avec les clients assignes afin d'augmenter les ventes et la marge des produits et/ou services de l'entreprise. Votre objectif principal sera la vente en face a face et la gestion de comptes afin d'atteindre les objectifs de revenus de vente. Il est attendu que vous interagissiez avec tous les niveaux des organisations clientes, y compris les equipes techniques, les operations, la chaine d'approvisionnement et la direction generale. Vous pourriez etre amene a elaborer et presenter des offres commerciales, des presentations, des propositions et/ou des demonstrations de produits.


Responsabilites :



Evaluer les besoins des clients, proposer des produits, services et/ou solutions, et assurer un processus de vente fluide. Mettre en oeuvre et developper le plan de compte client attribue, en collaboration avec la direction. Appliquer les initiatives de marge via des services a valeur ajoutee, des programmes marketing et l'engagement des fournisseurs. Prospecter de nouveaux clients, notamment par des appels a froid et en developpant des pistes par des canaux de recommandation. Communiquer avec les clients et les prospects pour identifier leurs besoins en produits ou services ; proposer les solutions adequates. Presenter les fonctions et l'utilite des produits ou services en fonction des besoins du client. Assurer la satisfaction du client grace a une communication continue et une gestion de la relation ; resoudre tout probleme post-vente. Maintenir le contact avec les clients actuels et anciens, en les informant des nouveaux produits, services et ameliorations susceptibles de les interesser. Utiliser des outils de gestion des ventes pour la planification des ventes, la planification fournisseur et le suivi des opportunites. Developper ses connaissances produits via des formations internes (WESCO) et fournisseurs. Etablir des relations solides avec les fournisseurs, incluant des visites conjointes regulieres chez les clients. Fournir des devis, seul ou en collaboration avec l'equipe de support aux ventes.

Qualifications :



Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent requis ; un diplome universitaire est preferable. Experience prealable en vente requise, une experience en ventes externes est un atout. Deux ans d'experience dans l'industrie sont preferes. Capacite a se deplacer chez les clients et fournisseurs actuels et potentiels. Disponibilite pour un horaire flexible et des deplacements occasionnels avec nuitees. Excellentes competences en vente et en negociation. Capacite a concevoir et animer des presentations. Excellentes competences interpersonnelles. Communication efficace, a l'ecrit comme a l'oral. Aptitude a travailler en equipe. Maitrise de la suite Microsoft Office. Connaissance des techniques de publicite et de promotion des ventes (preferee). Capacite a se deplacer entre 50 % et 75 % du temps.

Ventes externes

- Le travail est generalement effectue dans un bureau, mais des deplacements sur les sites clients ou dans les entrepots peuvent etre necessaires. Des periodes de conduite prolongees avec arrets frequents peuvent etre requises. Exposition possible aux conditions meteorologiques exterieures.


As a Representative - Outside Sales, you will be responsible for developing new prospects and interacting with assigned customers to increase sales and margin of the company's products and/or services. Your primary focus will be face-to-face selling and account management activities to meet sales revenue. You will be expected to engage with all levels of the customers' organizations including technical, operations, supply chain and executive management. You may be required to develop and deliver sales bids, presentations, proposals and/or product demonstrations.


Responsibilities:



Assess customer needs and suggest products, services and/or solutions and ensure a smooth sales process. Executes and expands assigned customer account plan(s) which is developed in conjunction with management. Executes on billing margin initiatives through value added services, marketing programs, and supplier engagement. Prospects potential customers, including cold calling and developing leads through referral channels. Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs. Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale. Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest. Utilizes sales management tools for sales planning, supplier planning and documenting opportunities. Develops and grows product knowledge through WESCO and supplier training. Develops strong relationships with suppliers, including performing regular joint sales calls. Provides quotations directly or in conjunction with sales support team.

Qualifications:



High School Degree or Equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree is preferred Prior sales experience required, outside sales preferred Two years of industry experience preferred Ability to travel to current and potential clients and suppliers Ability to work flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel Excellent sales and negotiation skills Ability to develop and deliver presentations Strong interpersonal skills Effective communicator both written and verbally Ability to work in team environment Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques (Preferred) Ability to travel 50-75% of the time

Working Environment:

Outside Sales - Work is generally performed in an office environment, but employee may need to travel to customer sites or warehouse facilities. Driving may be required for an extended period of time with frequent stops and starts. Can be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.



Compensation Details $68,026.00 - $88,434.00 Annually

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.



For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package.
