Reporting Analyst - National Standards, Client Experience





We are looking for a Reporting Analyst to join our National Standards, Client Experience team. This role is pivotal in supporting data-driven decision-making by creating, managing, and optimizing operational and client experience reports across Acera Insurance. You will work closely with national stakeholders to understand needs, identify trends, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation: Acera's total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual, team and company performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $60-000 - $75,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity.

Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards to support client experience and operational performance using Applied Epic, Excel, and Power BI. Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement across national operations. Lead and support data integrity initiatives, including data audits, clean-up efforts, and re-coding activities to ensure accurate, standardized, and reliable data across platforms. Collaborate with team members and business units to identify inconsistencies or errors in data and implement corrective actions. Translate business questions into meaningful, actionable reports that support strategic decision-making. Contribute to the development of national standards and performance benchmarks through data insight. Provide support in data validation, integrity checks, and troubleshooting reporting anomalies. Act as a subject matter expert on Epic data structure, with an ability to bridge business needs and technical data constructs. Participate in or lead initiatives aimed at improving reporting capabilities, automating processes, or enhancing the user experience with data tools.

What You Bring



3+ years of experience in the insurance industry, preferably with a brokerage. Hands-on experience with Applied Epic, including a strong understanding of system data structure, data integrity issues, and reporting functions. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data manipulation techniques. Working knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard creation, data modeling, and DAX formulas. Demonstrated experience in data clean-up, integrity validation, re-coding, and the ability to create scalable, accurate data models. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills -- able to dive deep into data to identify root causes and solutions. Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable collaborating with national and regional stakeholders. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Experience working in a remote team environment is an asset.
