Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Create PBI reports for complex business requirements with features such as drill-through, filtering, and highlighting. Provide specialized skills for developing data access queries and analyses.

\xc2\xb7 Works in conjunction with other PBI developers, business analysts, and Data Analysts to implement complex data requirements

\xc2\xb7 Maintain DevOps pipelines and deployments

General Skills

Experience building, testing, and implementing complex reports, dashboards, and other objects.

\xc2\xb7 Experience providing technical guidance and subject matter expertise on report implementation

\xc2\xb7 Analyse, design, execute, and validate complex BI requirements from multiple business teams

\xc2\xb7 Strategize BI solutions to achieve functional and technical objectives

\xc2\xb7 Prototyping to develop business requirements for future implementation

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Data Analysis (DAX), M, ETL (Power Query), SQL (or data extraction and integration tools) and performance optimization

\xc2\xb7 Architect, develop and deploy Enterprise Power BI solutions using Power BI Cloud Service and Power BI Premium.

\xc2\xb7 Build complex dashboards/reports in Power BI, incorporating DAX expressions for various business groups\xe2\x80\x99 needs.

\xc2\xb7 Utilize Power Query for data cleansing and formatting in Power BI

\xc2\xb7 Create and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, source-to-target mapping reports, and BI dependencies.

\xc2\xb7 Aggregate Data reporting and data reconciliation

\xc2\xb7 Research, document, prototype, design, build, test, and implement business requirements for advanced business intelligence and analytic capabilities

\xc2\xb7 Design, build, and deploy data models optimized for business intelligence and analytics

\xc2\xb7 Microsoft Power BI certifications or Azure certifications are an asset

\xc2\xb7 Experience providing specialized technical support to improve productivity and collaboration within agile teams utilizing DevOps Practices leading to optimization and automation of processes and knowledge and awareness of technology-specific standards, policies, and practices for tools, including Source Code Management, Continuous integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD)Pipelines, Configuration management, Infrastructure as Code/Scripting.

Advanced Communication Skills

Ability to communicate clearly in conversation and presentations to both technical and non-technical staff and to provide updates to all levels of management and stakeholders.
