Our expectations
The Replenisher coordinates and maintains inventory levels of assigned products, anticipates seasonal fluctuations, confirms space allocations, and expedites procurement for the Direct Distribution Center.

Your role

Forecast and order material to ensure low and out of stock situations are dealt with promptly to minimize the potential for backorders
Provide recommendations for the stocking of non-core products
Ensure on-hand quantities are accurate and make adjustments when necessary
Ensure goods are ordered and received within expected time frames and set product inventory levels giving consideration to storage, demand, seasonality, product handling, inventory turns, and industry speculations
Review paperwork and expedite backorders, noting estimated time of arrival
Investigate and resolve discrepancies and update stock card systems as required
Take necessary action to resolve green flag inquiries from Accounts Payable
Investigate product damage complaints and assess responsibility for damaged materials
Negotiate with vendors for credit and/or replacement of products
Maintain and analyze usage records and make suggestions for product line changes to the management team
Provide assistance and back-up to all other Purchasing staff in the office when required
Perform other job-related duties as required

The qualifications we are looking for

Good knowledge of products, sources of supply, reorder scheduling, and storage requirements
Ability to forecast requirements, assess multiple factors, calculate risks, and demonstrate sound judgment
Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with vendors, internal staff, and customers
Good organizational skills and ability to respond to inquiries and problems in a timely and proactive manner
Close attention to detail and focus for moderate periods of time
Strong judgment and analytical skills for determining stock and order schedules to avoid out of stock situations
Ability to work under pressure when securing procurement in a cost-efficient and timely manner
