As the Rentals Manager overseeing canoe, ski, and ice skate operations, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, safe, and seamless outdoor recreation services. You will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our rental facilities, maintaining equipment to the highest standards, and leading a guest-focused team that embodies the Fairmont brand.

Oversee daily rental operations for canoeing (Spring/Summer), ski equipment, and ice skating (Fall/Winter). Monitor weather conditions and make sound judgement of pausing/closing operations in unsafe weather. Ensure all safety procedures and regulations are followed by team members and guests. Resolve guest concerns with care, professionalism, and prompt action, ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Hiring, coaching, developing, and performance managing the Resort Activities team Manage staff schedules and handle payroll processing. Improve service delivery by streamlining procedures and removing obstacles that hinders service Strong & effective communication with all other departments. Conducts and participates in monthly communication meetings. Oversee regular inspection and maintenance of all rental equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate timely repair or replacement of damaged equipment. Ensure all waivers, liability forms, and rental documentation are properly completed and stored.


Qualifications



Previous leadership experience in Recreation or Hospitality operations CPR and First Aid certification Pleasure Craft Operator Card Operational knowledge and proficiency in Property Management System (Micros-Fidelio) Computer proficiency in a Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to consistently stand and walk through out shift and lift up to 50lbs
