About R&D Trailer Rentals

R&D Trailer Rentals is a leader in semi-trailer rental equipment servicing western Canada. We are looking to add a dedicated individual to fill our Trailer Rental Coordinator position.

Position Overview

The Trailer Rental Coordinator is responsible for arranging rentals and equipment maintenance. They will also be required to approve vendor invoices, and move trailers on our property using a shunt tractor(Class 1 or driving experience is not required). With this position you are on call to arrange after hour repairs on equipment rented to our customers.

Responsibilities

Coordinate rentals ensuring equipment condition and availability meeting customer requirements. Inspect equipment at the beginning and end of the rental term. Arrange and schedule maintenance for all equipment as required. Prepare applicable rental documentation. Effectively communicate with customers arranging mobile repair, trailer service, and scheduling rentals. Maintain a positive customer relationship. Review and approve vendor invoices. Move trailers using a shunt tractor on our property. Arrange after hours maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

High school diploma 3+ Years of experience in the transportation industry Must have your own transportation

Compensation

The salary starts at $55,000 with growth up to $65,000. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and RRSP plan after 90 days. In addition we offer a company bonus program, receive a monthly fuel allowance, and company cellphone.
