Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.), one of Canada's premiere Construction Rental Companies, has an immediate requirement for a Rental Coordinator in our Owensound location. This is a fast-paced, constantly growing branch, which relies on our team-oriented atmosphere to help maintain and build our customer base. The Rental Counter Representative is a vital position that operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers, and is a key role in developing successful relationships with our customers.Job descriptionxc2xb7 Provide excellent customer relations through phone, email and face-to-face, while keeping a positive and professional attitude;xc2xb7 Perform assigned tasks with attention to detail and effectively organize all documentation within Company software;xc2xb7 Work effectively within a team environment;xc2xb7 Operates as the direct liaison between staff and customers;xc2xb7 Open and close branch when necessary;xc2xb7 Prepare paperwork and contracts for deliveries; update internal product spreadsheets and any other product tracking systems.xc2xb7 Facilitate customer calls and walk-ins, including sourcing equipment and supplies, as well as coordinating and securing deliveries;xc2xb7 Monitor inventories - rental equipment and saleable goods;xc2xb7 Assist with loading and unloading customer pick-ups when required;xc2xb7 Restock product shelves as needed;xc2xb7 Prepare and ensure that all deliveries are organized for the following day;xc2xb7 Complete daily closing requirements, including, but not limited to, invoice checks, pricing and information accuracy, balance funds;xc2xb7 On-call work schedules may be required;xc2xb7 Adhere to all workplace safety protocols, environmentally sound behaviours and practices at all times.Job qualificationsxc2xb7 Proficiency/prior experience with Systematics would be considered an asset;xc2xb7 Technical aptitude of CAT equipment and operations would be considered an asset.xc2xb7 Experience in Microsoft applications, specifically: Outlook, Word, and Excel;xc2xb7 Knowledge of construction equipment and building products;xc2xb7 Previous experience in a related field;xc2xb7 A self-starter, with a keen sense of time-management and effective planning skills;xc2xb7 Professional customer service, and good communication;xc2xb7 Effectively work within a team environmentBattlefield Equipment Rentals is committed to creating an inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds can thrive.
