We are a homeowner-led project team looking to renovate our house. We will be providing the labor and materials -- we are seeking an experienced professional to guide and supervise the renovation to ensure the work is done safely, accurately, and up to standard.
Position Summary:
The
Renovation Consultant / Supervisor
will provide expertise, direction, and oversight on our home renovation project. You won't be responsible for providing labor or materials -- instead, your role is to tell us what to do, check our measurements, and make sure everything is being built safely and correctly.Responsibilities:
Guide the renovation process by advising on best practices and safe building methods. Check and confirm measurements for accuracy. Ensure all work is performed safely and according to code/standards. Provide step-by-step direction to the homeowner's labor team. Troubleshoot and problem-solve issues during the renovation.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in residential construction, carpentry, or renovation. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents. Knowledge of building codes and safety practices. Good communication and leadership skills. Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality results.
Compensation:
