Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Renovation Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction, including remodeling, restoration, and custom fabrication. This role involves working on residential, renovations. The Renovation Carpenter will be responsible for executing high-quality craftsmanship to meet project specifications and client expectations.

Duties

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute renovation projects. Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinetry work. Use of hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials such as wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and flooring. Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and roofing tasks as needed. Engage in plastering, drywall finishing, caulking, tile laying, and flooring installation to achieve seamless finishes. Assist with water damage restoration and mold remediation projects by applying appropriate techniques. Perform heavy lifting safely to transport materials or equipment around the job site. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall finishing, roofing, masonry, or related fields. Proficiency with hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels), power tools (drills, saws). Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution. Familiarity with construction site safety standards and protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of carpentry work. Valid experience in remodeling projects such as cabinet installation, door hanging, siding application, electrical or plumbing integration is desirable. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.70-$41.69 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
