Job Summary:



As a Body Removal Technician you will be responsible for the respectful, professional removal and transportation of deceased individuals within our community and outlying areas from various locations, including private residences, hospitals and care facilities to designated agencies.

Responsibilities:



Respond promptly with a team of your colleagues to a specified location in a timely manner Respectfully transport of deceased persons with dignity and care, while following all health and safety regulations Maintain accurate records of removals, including time, location and relevant details and policy documentation Coordinate with third party dispatch, medical staff, law enforcement, client family members and relevant agencies Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is submitted accurately at the conclusion of a removal scene Keep all removal equipment and fleet vehicles clean, maintained and ready for service Drive fleet vehicles safely and responsibly Maintain a clean and organized work environment on scene, adhering to safety protocols at all times Ability to work irregular hours as our community requires 24/7 service Upon hiring Technicians and Operators must be available to work on-call rotations Physical strength and stamina is required of you as the job demands you are able to lift, maneuver, carry deceased individuals. The ability to lift with a colleague is an essential requirement You will be required to implement proper lifting techniques after training while on scene Following training procedures on scene is essential Maintaining and having a valid drivers license is required for Removal Technicians and Removal Operators who are operating fleet vehicles You are required to follow a dress code

You have the ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical ability to lift and maneuver with your colleagues Ability to follow relevant health and safety procedures at all times Compassionate and empathetic demeanor is required Strong problem solving skills Excellent communication skills for client interaction and documenting skills Confidentiality of scenes is required Ability to work well as a team is required

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week

Work Location: In person
