organized and proactive individual
to join our team in a pivotal administrative and technological support role. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service delivery for our diverse, multicultural clientele.
Position Overview
The Student Services Coordinator will expertly manage schedules, resolve conflicts, and facilitate seamless communication between students, parents, and our tutors. You will also assist the facility's day-to-day operations with our group lessons and provide vital support to our teaching team to ensure a high level of service.
Considering our multicultural clientele,
fluency in both English and Mandarin is a strict requirement
for this role.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Logistics & Scheduling:
Manage all one-on-one tutoring schedules and be on call to
resolve last-minute conflicts
efficiently.
Program Management:
Assist the General Manager with the organization and execution of educational programs and manage course enrollments.
Communication Hub:
Act as the
central point of contact
between parents and teachers, promoting active and effective communication channels to address concerns and provide regular updates on student progress.
Feedback Delivery:
Deliver timely and insightful feedback to parents regarding their child's performance.
Technical Support:
Set up remote teaching platforms for various educational programs and provide
technological support
for parents and students (troubleshooting access, etc.).
Administrative Support:
Assist in the managerial tasks for teachers and support the facility's day-to-day operations.
Other supporting responsibilities for our various educational programs.
Job Qualifications
Bilingual Fluency:
Fluency in English AND written and spoken Mandarin is required.
The interview process will be conducted bilingually.
Technological Proficiency:
Excellent technological proficiency with the ability to
learn and use new digital tools quickly
(e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, scheduling software).
Communication:
Excellent communication skills with a proven record of experience in
customer service
and managing stakeholder relationships. Experiences in sales are considered assets.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills
with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks under pressure, and manage complex schedules.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to be a
fast thinker
when resolving unexpected conflicts.
Detail Orientation:
Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in scheduling, documentation, and data management.
Required Availability:
Availability is required during weekday evenings and all-day weekends
, as this represents the peak operational time for our educational programs.
