They are a successful team of talented professionals with good culture, promoting a positive environment. Now they're looking for you: their new Presentation Design Specialist to join their team. What you'll be doing: As a Presentation Design Specialist, you will be reporting to the Art Director and have a collaborative team spirit in supporting clients' needs. Practically speaking, you will: * Process a datasheet, complex idea, or a bulleted list of information and design a solution that coveys the key messages in an organized, understandable layouts which may be text only, have icons, imagery or graphs incorporated * Demonstrate strong conceptual thinking, data visualization, and typography skills * Utilize your knowledge of fonts, colors and color theory, typesetting, vector/ raster images, image file formats, image resolutions, etc. * Quickly pick up and follow an established brand * Create a cohesive visual thread through a presentation either by use of brand guidelines or through elaborating upon the established look * Be attentive to consistent formatting and content details (color, font, alignment, pixel-perfect positioning) * Design and create PPT templates with a solid understanding of PPT Master layouts * Create graphs in PPT from a data set * Format graphs and tables within PPT * Demonstrate your creativity * Be able to take direction and work within tight deadlines * Be able to work independently and with a team * Learn new technology quickly The Details This is a 100% remote contract for 3 months to hire position. The ideal candidate should be authorized to work in Canada. This position offers a competitive rate. What you'll bring: * Graphic design undergraduate degree or equivalent * Portfolio of work including a native PPT file for review * 2-3 years of experience with an expert knowledge of presentation design standards and use of PowerPoint as a design tool * Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel * Intermediate proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator * Secure PC workstation, or Mac with Parallels * Excellent proofreading and editing skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Experience with infographic design * Experience with medical/pharma ( a plus) * User interface design and illustration ( a plus ) Your Application We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.
