About the Role
We are seeking a technically proficient
Field Service Technician
specializing in telephony systems to perform on-site installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Southern Ontario. This remote-based role requires travel to customer sites with a focus on PBX, VOIP, SIP, and low-voltage infrastructure. Strong telephony expertise is essential.Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain telephony systems including PBX, VOIP, and SIP Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, low-voltage cabling, and network components Perform on-site diagnostics and repairs with precision and efficiency Ensure accurate documentation and system handoff
Required Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of telephony products and equipment
, includingPrivate Branch eXchange (PBX) systems
Strong electrical and low-voltage cabling expertise
Strong mechanical knowledge
with effective operation ofvarious hand tools
Solid understanding ofnetworking concepts
(LAN/WAN, DHCP)Familiarity with VOIP and SIP
(strongly preferred)Valid G Driver's Licence
andreliable personal vehicle
Highorganization
anddetail orientation
Proventroubleshooting ability
