Relief Pharmacist

Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and reliable Relief Pharmacist to provide coverage at our established pharmacy in Waterloo. This is an ideal opportunity for a pharmacist who values a streamlined workflow and a focused clinical environment. Our pharmacy does not handle methadone or compounding, allowing you to concentrate on core patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide comprehensive patient counseling. Conduct medication reviews and offer proactive pharmaceutical care. Supervise and collaborate with our team of experienced pharmacy assistants. Utilize the Kroll pharmacy management system for all dispensing and clinical tasks. Provide vaccinations and other enhanced services as per scope of practice. Ensure compliance with all Ontario College of Pharmacists standards and regulations.
The Ideal Candidate:
Hold a valid Part A Pharmacist license with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP). Is proficient in using Kroll pharmacy software. Possesses excellent communication and patient-care skills. Is a reliable team player who can integrate seamlessly into our workflow. Appreciates a practice setting free from methadone and complex compounding.
