Position Summary... Licensed ( New Brunswick) Relief Pharmacist

What you\'ll do...

Our dynamic team is looking for a flexible relief pharmacist to cover a few shifts per month including every third weekends.

The pharmacy is open 8-8 on weekdays, 9-5 on Saturday and 10-3 on Sunday, closed on statutory holidays.

The pharmacist\xe2\x80\x99s responsibilities include:

Ensure excellent patient experience, locate merchandise on the sales floor.

Accept prescriptions and/or refill requests from Customers, Doctors or Hospitals.

Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately, efficiently, and safely using the established workflow models and counsel all patients on sold pharmaceutical products.

Ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.

Execute processes as per OBWs/SOPs.

Ability to operate all equipment in the pharmacy (register, computer system etc.).

Protect and maintain patient privacy at all times and follow provincial regulations established by the regulatory body. Ensure patients receive all eligible services they are entitled to (medication reviews, injections etc.) to meet specific patient needs.

Must follow OBW regulations as per the Relief Pharmacist program. Develop and establish a collaborative relationships with other health care providers within the store (clinics, Vision Centre, their community etc.)

Must be able to work weekends (once every 3 weeks) , on Saturdays 9-5 and Sundays 10-3, some week days during regular hours 8 AM - 8 PM

Kroll knowledge preferred

Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills

Must be licensed and registered as a direct care pharmacist in New Brunswick and hold a pharmacy bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher
