Job Description

?SLCS is currently seeking a Relief housing stability worker, available to work flexible schedules for the Project Home Housing Program. This project focuses on individuals who will be anchored in their housing and establish a sense of belonging in the community through the provision of assertive and intensive housing first case management. As a member of this interdisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, crisis intervention, housing stability and support services to individuals who are transitioning from homelessness into stable housing within the London community.

You will work directly with individuals to support establishment of personal goals that focus on housing stability, and connect individuals to community services to support achievement of their goals. You will be responsible for advocating for individuals involved in the criminal justice system, liaising with other services i.e. emergency shelters, clinical support staff, and court systems to coordinate care for individuals as well as integrated case management. You will work with individuals from diverse populations and contribute to the ongoing development of the program, its outcomes and goals.

In addition to the housing stability focus of the position, you will be responsible for the safety and security of the individuals, co-workers and community during your employment. You will work collaboratively with other team members and community partners to complete administrative functions for the program.

Project Home's operating hours are from 9am - 7pm, Monday to Friday and 10am - 6pm on the weekends. The successful candidate's shifts would fall between those hours as you are available. As a relief member of staff, there is no guarantee of hours but you would average around 10 - 20 hours per week.

Required Qualifications



?University Degree or 2-3 year College Diploma or working towards your degree/diploma Standard ?First Aid/CPR - Level C ?Valid G2 or G class Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is an asset
