We have a current vacancy for a dedicated and reliable part-time, on-call

Relief Driver

to provide essential support when our full-time drivers require assistance. This role involves transporting crews to chicken farms across Southern Ontario, assisting with moving equipment, and supporting basic truck and trailer maintenance to ensure operations run smoothly. An

AR License

is required.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to full-time drivers by ensuring the safe transportation of crews and equipment. Operate large trucks and trailers to transport crews to various farm locations. Help with the movement and handling of equipment at different farm sites. Perform basic maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition. Operate a forklift for loading and unloading equipment. Adhere to all company policies and road safety regulations to maintain safe operations. Maintain clear and effective communication with team members for efficient workflows.

Qualifications:

Valid AR License with a clean driving record. Forklift License, with hands-on experience considered an asset. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance. Legally authorized to work in Canada. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. Ability to be flexible and work on short notice with changing schedules.
