Adecco is currently seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to join our client\'s team in North York, ON. This role involves deploying advanced Reliability & Industry 4.0 methodologies to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.   • Pay rate: $71/hour.
  • Location: North York, ON
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
  • Job type: 12-month contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:
  • Provide reliability input for new projects (e.g., FFIP, PPD) and develop PM programs.
  • Deploy advanced Reliability & Industry 4.0 methodologies to mitigate operational risks.
  • Conduct RCA and implement CAPAs to eliminate production-related downtime.
  • Utilize RCA, RCM, FMEA, SPC, and CMMS to improve equipment performance.
  • Manage equipment hierarchy, spare parts, and documentation for optimal maintenance.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineering to ensure reliability in new installations.
  • Develop Predictive Maintenance programs using technologies like vibration analysis.
  • Identify obsolescence risks and recommend functional equivalency parts.
  • Optimize PM task lists for building shutdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Promote a strong Maintenance Safety Culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Train teams on equipment history maintenance for trend analysis and improvement.
  • Requires 5-15 years in maintenance/engineering, ideally in pharmaceuticals.
Requirements:
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Minimum Bachelor\'s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
  • 5-15 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or engineering, with at least 2 years in a Reliability Engineering role in pharmaceuticals.
  • Proficiency in Industry 4.0, Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Professional Engineer of Ontario (P. Eng) and CMRP certification are assets.
