As a Detention Center Security Officer, you are responsible for overseeing the care and containment of individuals held by law enforcement agencies. What you'll be doing

• Ensure the protection, custody, and control of detained persons.
• Assist and work alongside law-enforcement agencies to ensure safe and secure transport of detainees.
• Recording detainee admissions and discharges.
• Monitoring and performing regular searches of cells, detainees, and the property.
• Enforce the regulations in effect at your client's premises
• Write daily reports and incident reports efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• BC Security Licence required
• Valid Reliability Clearance with Public Works required
• Standard First Aid (CPR and AED)
• Advanced Security Training (AST) considered an asset
• Transport Security Clearance (TSC), RAIC, and Class 4 driver's licence are considered an asset
