What you'll be doing:
As a Salesforce Release Manager Application/Solution Architect, you will play a critical role in managing complex software development projects, ensuring smooth release and deployment processes, and coordinating cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solutions architecture, release management, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:Manage, plan, and negotiate software release activities across impacted teams and environments. Liaise with application teams, business teams, and stakeholders to provide leadership on the technical impact to supported environments. Determine what releases will be ready and when across all workstreams and coordinate vendor solutions for scheduled deployments. Lead discussions on mid-term and long-term planning for integrated environments requiring production data as vendor solutions evolve. Understand client assets, vendor solutions, architecture, connectivity models (on-prem/cloud), and firewall rules. Manage change requests, documenting proposed changes, their impact, and approval status. Track changes throughout their lifecycle, including review, approval, implementation, and verification. Manage environment timelines outlining project/solution release changes, scheduling release/testing activities, and mitigating risks. Ensure compliance with change management procedures, regulatory requirements, and security standards. Produce release readiness assessments and criteria for determining deployment readiness. Develop pre-deployment validation reports, including test results, quality metrics, and compliance checks. Determine coordinated test data, integrations, and data comparisons required for operational changes, emergency fixes, or project releases. Provide oversight on production data usage in non-production environments to prevent inadvertent exposure. Plan and forecast system needs and manage upcoming system development project initiatives. Participate in infrastructure capacity planning and prioritization of operational and project needs across environments. Recommend integrated approaches and resolve connectivity challenges to support projects effectively. Provide post-release reports summarizing deployment activities, issues encountered, resolutions applied, and lessons learned. Conduct release retrospectives and recommend improvements based on feedback, metrics, and performance indicators. Support additional duties as assigned to ensure smooth execution of software releases and enterprise solutions.

Mandatory Requirements:Education: A university degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred; however, equivalent experience and education will be considered. Experience: + 15+ years of IM/IT experience.
+ 10+ years of demonstrated experience in solutions architecture for enterprise solutions.
+ 6+ years of demonstrated experience in software/application release management.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Availability: Must be available to start work immediately in Fredericton

Desired Skills and Experience:8+ years managing complex software development projects through various phases, including release and deployment management. 8+ years coordinating release activities, such as scheduling, deployment readiness assessments, post-release validation, and leading release planning meetings and retrospectives. 8+ years coordinating cross-functional work teams, including vendors, infrastructure teams, developers, and business stakeholders. 8+ years in enterprise application configuration management, including change control, risk management, resource allocation, and scheduling. 8+ years applying Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall, Scrum, and Agile. 8+ years with release management processes, automation tools, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with Copado for Salesforce is a plus. 8+ years of strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical and business requirements, identify dependencies, mitigate conflicts, and influence decision-making. 8+ years of experience in security related to data confidentiality and client privacy, specifically concerning databases and application design.
