About the role

If you\'re seeking an exciting opportunity to influence and shape a Release Management Team, consider applying for the role of Release and Environment Manager on Boston Scientific\'s Salesforce Team.

As the Release and Environment Manager, you will collaborate with Architects and other team members to develop processes and technology that push Boston Scientific to the forefront of this field. You will be part of our Global Information Technology (IT) Department, collaborating with internal and external partners. Your responsibilities will include designing and optimizing our Release and Environment Management processes on our Salesforce platform, ensuring that we meet business needs and deliver high value.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design and document Release Management solutions for a multi-divisional team.
• Provide technical guidance to onshore and offshore technical resources.
• Present environment options for large off-cycle projects.
• Manage all Salesforce environments, carefully planning environment refreshes and integrations.
• Lead continuous improvements to the release process by iteratively updating documented release plans, with a focus on process improvement and automation.
• Proactively monitor for risks to security and stability and identify mitigation plans for all potential risks.
• Properly track released components and manage deployments between sandbox environments.
• Evangelize and facilitate the Salesforce platform and ecosystem across the organization.
• Identify problem areas (both process and technical) and recommend solutions.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science OR 5+ years of related work experience.
• Possess a Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• 5+ years of software release management or closely related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience with Jenkins, CI, Selenium or Apex.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements.
• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies.
• Background supporting additional App Exchange integrations and packages preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce.com Release Management with multiple environments (Enterprise edition or higher).
• 3+ years of experience with Copado, Flosum, or another Salesforce ALM tool.
• 3+ years of experience in software development lifecycle and leveraging agile methodologies, including specific requirements for maintaining systems.
