The Relationship Manager, ( 12 month Contract ) reporting to the Regional Head, will develop strong cross functional relationships at the senior management level of our clients\xe2\x80\x99 organization so that we effectively identify and capitalize on opportunities in all product lines. They will provide the full suite of services to assigned corporate clients and lead the client relationships across product lines. The Relationship Manager is responsible for the overall quality of service, profitability and risk containment of assigned client and career exploration to our team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assume responsibility for leading and strengthening the client relationship.
  • Develop and implement call plan for all clients. Find opportunities across all product areas and build action plans accordingly.
  • Upsell and cross sell new/value added services to clients.
  • Keep Salesforce updated with all key contacts, influences and opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts as the need arises.
  • Develop positive relationships within multiple functions at client organization.
  • Work closely with the product development and business management of all product areas to help craft solutions to meet client needs.
  • Alert senior management to real or potential issues. Post and update Salesforce with Client At Risk information.
  • Review various legal and corporate documents/contracts, assessing degree of responsibility and risk for the Company; collaborate with internal counsel; provide information to corporate clients, their legal counsel and underwriters, and sign contracts on behalf of the Company, coordinates and attends closings.
  • Manage the process of transferring new business to the Company; ensure complete client documentation is in place; facilitate the effective integration of new clients into the ongoing operation and ensure appropriate system set up to allow the account to be run smoothly.
  • Participate in the formulation and negotiation of fee quotes as the need arises.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have:
  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in a client facing, relationship management role
  • Post Secondary Education in a relevant field of study or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Financial services industry is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with internal and external clients. Proven track record in understanding clients\xe2\x80\x99 needs and developing the appropriate solutions
  • Supports the organization\xe2\x80\x99s ability to maximize current revenue opportunities and find new sources of revenue growth
  • Strong negotiating skills and proven ability to influence without authority
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Bilingual English & French, an asset
