Temporary Full Time




Reporting to the Associate Manager, Reinsurance Administration, the Reinsurance Coordinator will be responsible for various functions which support overall administration of ceded reinsurance. This role processes transactions in compliance with the appropriate reinsurance agreements.

What you will do

Monitor department mailboxes for requests received from internal and external business partners. Running monthly/quarterly reports and creating workflow cards Mainframe processing, including but not limited to, changes, terminations, reinstatements and look ups Prepare monthly and quarterly wire requests for payment to our reinsurers Complete other ad-hoc tasks as required.

What you will bring

Strong attention to detail with a focus on high level of accuracy. Excellent organization and time management skills. Self-motivated with a proven sense of urgency and ability to work independently. A team player with a positive attitude, and an interest in collaborating with others. Knowledge of individual life insurance products, systems and reinsurance would be an asset Good communication skills both written and verbally Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Education/skills acquired at post-secondary level or previous work/office experience an asset


The base salary for this position is between

$42,500

- $63,800

annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
