Responsibilities

Invisible Care Invisible-Care provides virtual, real-time and personalized support for clients with physical, mental, and psycho-emotional needs. Under the supervision of a full-time dedicated Clinical Manager (OT), our team of highly skilled PSWs and RSWs ensure clients are supported at any time of the day with their activities of daily living and their rehabilitation program. Job description Role: Rehabilitation Support Worker Pay Range: Hourly, $19.00 - $23.00 Job Type: Part-time, 1–6-hour shifts, weekly/monthly guaranteed set hours Hours of Work: Flexible, workdays, evenings, and weekends Work Location: Remote/ Work from Home Duties & Responsibilities v Support clients virtually to ensure their optimum physical, social and emotional well-being. v Provide one to one support and group support within the home and community to adults with an Acquired Brain Injury/chronic pain syndrome with activities of daily living, personal care, and rehabilitation planning. v Support clients with their rehabilitation programs, as directed by regulated health care professionals, to help them reach their rehabilitation goals following a brain injury, work-related illness or accident, mental health diagnosis, or spinal cord injury. v Assist in monitoring behaviors or activities that affect the safety, security, and well-being of clients and caregivers. v Observe and report changes in the client’s health status or needs. v Provide individualized customer service of the highest quality. v Be respectful, courteous, and pleasant at all time. v Communicates effectively with clients, families, staff, and management. v Maintain high-quality, accurate documentation of observations related client’s behavioral and cognitive limitations. v Role modeling, cueing, and prompting effective communication skills. v Work co-operatively with team members. v Provide services on a flexible basis including evenings and weekends. v Receive direction from management and implement regular feedback provided. v Participate in quality improvement and continuous growth and training activities as directed. v Adhere to workplace policies and operational procedures. v Maintain attendance and punctuality within designated shift. v Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications v Post-Secondary Graduation Diploma/ University Degree and a Personal Support Worker Certificate from a recognized college are required. v Minimum 2 years’ experience working directly with people with acquired brain injuries and complex injuries. v Working knowledge of ABI and rehabilitation. v Ability to multitask and prioritize Mental Health Diagnosis v Sound behavioral management skills, cognitive problem-solving skills. v Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management and documentation skills. v Computer and data entry skills. v Effective problem solving and decision-making skills. v Proven consistency in work performance and teamwork, including reliability and flexibility v Ability to speak, read, and write English and Cantonese v Availability on workdays, evenings, and weekends Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 6-18 per week Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
