About this Opportunity

Reporting to the Business Services Senior Manager, the Regulatory Student will support the Senior Regulatory Advisor and the Production Operations Team in the development and execution of a plan to implement the requirement of in-coming regulations related to the design, maintenance, and safe operations of the SeaRose FPSO production installation. This role will be involved in a multi-disciplinary review of installation\xe2\x80\x99s systems and processes to verify compliance and develop actions plan for implementation of the regulations.

Responsibilities

Support project management of compliance verification scopes

Development and maintenance of a compliance verification matrix

Attend and minute meetings between Regulatory and Operations Engineering teams

Research solutions or conduct a further investigation based on verification activities

Organization of key documentation and preparation of documents and other materials required to provide a demonstration of compliance to the local regulator

Key Process: Management of change and partner engagement

Qualifications

Legally entitled to work in Canada full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon application (e.g., work visa)

Available to begin work in September 2023

Education

Enrolled in an Engineering or Business Undergraduate Program (all disciplines will be considered) at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term

Attached copies of transcripts

Currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

Skills / Competencies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail

Strong computer skills (MS Office Products)

Strong verbal and written communications skills

Ability to work independently with limited supervision in a fast-paced, hard-working, team environment

Flexible to changing work demands and ability to prioritize
