Our Banking client in Toronto, Ontario ( WFH ) is looking to hire an Audit - Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Consultant - Advanced for a 4-months contract role with possibility of extension.

What you will be doing\xe2\x80\xa6

• As the Senior Manager, Privacy Oversight (Monitoring & Testing) you will support RBC\'s Privacy Office in fulfilling its responsibilities under the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Framework, by monitoring & testing of first line of defence (1LOD) controls designed to manage privacy risk, across our Canadian and Caribbean operations. In this role, you will:
• Lead the completion of a risk-based annual monitoring & testing plan, to deliver timely and accurate testing reviews that opine on the adequacy of 1LOD systems, controls, and processes to manage privacy risk in Canada and the Caribbean.
• Provide an opinion on the effectiveness of the 1LOD Privacy controls in achieving compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the execution of Quality Assurance reviews of 2LOD privacy controls, processes, and procedures.
• Drive the continual enhancement of the Privacy monitoring & testing program, including enhancing governance procedures, use of data analytics, and methodology improvements.
• Assist in strategic or ad hoc initiatives as required (including global initiatives).

What you will need to succeed\xe2\x80\xa6

Must have Skills:

• Expertise in privacy, RCM, or regulatory risk management practices.
• Experience in financial services organizations or regulatory bodies.
• Ability to work effectively with competing deadlines.
• Proven effective stakeholdering and communication skills.
• University degree in law, business, finance, or a related field.

• Privacy Accreditation (IAPP)
• Experience executing control testing programs.
