Regular Part-Time Childcare Assistants
The Children's Therapy & Family Resource Centre has 4 openings for
regular, part-time Childcare Assistants
in Supported Child Development in Kamloops.These positions are 25 hours per week, working 9:00am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday.
Applicants
MUST
have own vehicle and a valid BC drivers license as these positions require travel to/from different daycare locations in the city.Qualifications/Requirements:
Training in early childhood development (ECE -Early Childhood Education Certification) or equivalent -
NOT ECEA
. A minimum of one year work experience with children, particularly children with additional support needs. First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain upon hiring (job requirement). Criminal record check required upon hiring.Must have valid driver's license and own vehicle
- no public transit as you will be working at different daycare locations on a regular basis. Must be available weekdays Monday to Friday, no weekendsSalary: starting at $27.91/hr
