Company Overview

Registration of all emergency and ambulatory care patients ensuring accurate capture of all necessary information, other general clerical duties, function as unit clerk for emergency department where possible, relieve switchboard operator.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:

• Secondary school graduate with courses in medical terminology and computers
• Three months\' experience in a medical office environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, filing and typing skills
• Ability to utilize applicable computer and systems within the Admitting/Registration department
• Must work effectively as a team player
• Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance record

Assets:

• Bilingual - English and French

Hours of Work: Permanent Part Time, scheduled up to 24 hours a week. Must be available to work shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends. Shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements and as per the CUPE collective agreement.

Salary: $24.46 - $26.92 an hour
