We are a busy clinic located in Orleans, Ontario, looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Technician to join our growing team. The position is full-time including evening and weekend shifts.
Requirements:
1 year experience in a veterinary clinic
Graduation from an accredited facility
Our new team member should know the basics of a veterinary environment including:
Anesthesia monitoring during surgery, dental prophylaxis(scaling and polishing)
Basic animal handling skills, blood collection
Telecommunication with clients
Lab work including fecal flotations, urinalysis and bloodwork
Assisting the veterinarian in surgery and during appointments
