We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our founding team.

Job Summary:

As an RVT at Woodland Vet, you will be a key clinical team member working directly with our veterinarians to deliver exceptional medical care. You'll bring a high level of technical skill and clinical knowledge, along with empathy for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform technical procedures including blood draws, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiographs, dental prophylaxis, and in-house diagnostic lab work Assist in surgical prep, induction, and post-operative care Maintain timely and accurate medical records and patient charts Educate clients on preventative care, post-op instructions, and treatment plans Support inventory control and equipment maintenance Ensure that exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites are clean and well-organised Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to deliver outstanding patient care

Qualifications:

Current registration as an RVT in British Columbia. Graduate of an accredited veterinary technician program Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred Strong skills in anesthesia and dentistry Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Passion for patient advocacy and client education Fear-Free certification is an asset
