Highway 401 Warden Pet Hospital is a busy,

AAHA-accredited small animal practice

dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outstanding client service. We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented

Veterinary Technician (RVT or experienced technician)

to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in surgical preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care Perform laboratory tests (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology) and handle diagnostic equipment Provide compassionate nursing care and monitor hospitalized patients Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care, medications, and procedures Maintain accurate medical records and ensure cleanliness of treatment and exam areas Support veterinarians during appointments and procedures

Qualifications:

Graduate of a recognized Veterinary Technician program (RVT preferred but not mandatory) Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills Experience in small animal practice is an asset Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and client service Must be available for rotating weekends and occasional evenings

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
