The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.Qualifications:

• Registered Veterinary Technician or Technologist
• Successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program
• Passed the VTNE or are eligible to write the VTNE
• Be in good standing with the Provincial Regulatory Association
