Responsibilities
Perform patient intakes, including TPR (temperature, pulse, respiration) assessments
Prepare and administer medications and fill pharmaceutical prescriptions
Monitor anesthesia, assist with surgical procedures, and perform dental cleanings
Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients and educate clients on home care instructions
Lead technician appointments such as nail trims, anal gland expressions, and DVM-directed blood draws
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
Requirements
Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program
Laboratory experience preferred for performing diagnostic tests
Excellent communication skills with both clients and team members
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment with strong attention to detail
Genuine compassion for animals and dedication to delivering the highest standard of care
Enthusiasm for ongoing learning and professional growth
