The Edmonton Sleep Institute

is a diagnostic sleep clinic focused on exceptional patient

care. We offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic sleep disorder services, including individualized treatment plans, sleep apnea education, and ongoing support designed to empower patients to understand and manage their condition.

Our mission is to improve quality of sleep and, in turn, overall health and quality of life. We are currently seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRTs) with strong critical thinking abilities and interpersonal communication skills to join our team.

Position Details

Position: Sleep Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) Type: Permanent, Part-Time Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday (Day shifts only - No on-call) Hours: 8-hour shifts Location: In-person (Edmonton, Alberta) Compensation: $40-$45 per hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic sleep studies and collect accurate clinical data. Review sleep study results with patients and provide education on treatment options. Communicate clearly with patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and understanding. Set up and manage diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, including CPAP systems. Demonstrate critical thinking and independent decision-making during assessments. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans. Maintain confidentiality and uphold clinic cleanliness and safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active registration with CARTA and CSRT (in good standing). Current CPR/BLS certification. Clear criminal record check. Proficiency in basic computer use and EMR systems. Experience using Accuro, an asset. Knowledge or experience with CPAP therapy considered an asset. Willing to work at other locations to cover sick days/vacation days. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
